12.51.قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُنَّ إِذْ رَاوَدتُّنَّ يُوسُفَ عَن نَّفْسِهِ قُلْنَ حَاشَ لِلّهِ مَا عَلِمْنَا عَلَيْهِ مِن سُوءٍ قَالَتِ امْرَأَةُ الْعَزِيزِ الآنَ حَصْحَصَ الْحَقُّ أَنَاْ رَاوَدتُّهُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
12.51. Le roi interrogea alors ces femmes : «Quelle a été votre intention, lorsque vous avez tenté de séduire Joseph?» – «À Dieu ne plaise, répondirent-elles, Joseph n'a commis aucun mal que nous sachions.» Et la femme du grand intendant d'ajouter : «Maintenant la vérité a éclaté. C'est moi qui ai tenté de le faire céder à mes désirs, et tout ce qu'il a dit est l'absolue vérité !
12.51 . He ( the king ) ( then sent for those women and ) said : What happened when ye asked an evil act of Joseph? They answered : Allah Blameless! We know no evil of him . Said the wife of the ruler : Now the truth is out . I asked of him an evil act , and he is surely of the truthful .
12.51. Qala ma khatbukunna ith rawadtunna yoosufa AAan nafsihi qulna hasha lillahi ma AAalimna AAalayhi min soo-in qalati imraatu alAAazeezi al-ana hashasa alhaqqu ana rawadtuhu AAan nafsihi wa-innahu lamina alssadiqeena
12.52.ذَلِكَ لِيَعْلَمَ أَنِّي لَمْ أَخُنْهُ بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي كَيْدَ الْخَائِنِينَ
12.52. Si j'ai tenu à faire rétablir la vérité, c'est pour que mon maître sache que je ne l'ai point trompé pendant son absence, car Dieu ne guide point les intrigues des méchants.
12.52 . ( Then Joseph said : I asked for ) this , that he ( my lord ) may now that I betrayed him not in secret , and that surely Allah guideth not the snare of the betrayers .
12.52. Thalika liyaAAlama annee lam akhunhu bialghaybi waanna Allaha la yahdee kayda alkha-ineena
12.53.وَمَا أُبَرِّئُ نَفْسِي إِنَّ النَّفْسَ لأَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوءِ إِلاَّ مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّيَ إِنَّ رَبِّي غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
12.53. Je ne cherche pas à m'innocenter moi-même, car c'est le propre de la nature humaine à pousser au mal, à moins qu'on ne soit touché par la grâce de Dieu, car Il est Clément et Miséricordieux.»
12.53 . I do not exculpate myself . Lo! the ( human ) soul enjoineth unto evil , save that whereon my Lord hath mercy . my Lord is Forgiving , Merciful .
12.53. Wama obarri-o nafsee inna alnnafsa laammaratun bialssoo-i illa ma rahima rabbee inna rabbee ghafoorun raheemun
12.54.وَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ ائْتُونِي بِهِ أَسْتَخْلِصْهُ لِنَفْسِي فَلَمَّا كَلَّمَهُ قَالَ إِنَّكَ الْيَوْمَ لَدَيْنَا مِكِينٌ أَمِينٌ
12.54. «Qu'on me l'amène, dit le roi. Je veux l'attacher à ma personne !» Et après s'être entretenu avec lui, le roi lui dit : «À partir de maintenant, je t'accorde un poste d'autorité et t'investis de ma confiance !»
12.54 . And the king said : Bring him unto me that I may attach him to my person . And when he had talked with him he said : Lo! thou art today our presence established and trusts
12.54. Waqala almaliku i/toonee bihi astakhlishu linafsee falamma kallamahu qala innaka alyawma ladayna makeenun ameenun
12.55.قَالَ اجْعَلْنِي عَلَى خَزَآئِنِ الأَرْضِ إِنِّي حَفِيظٌ عَلِيمٌ
12.55. – «Confie-moi, dit Joseph, l'intendance des dépôts du pays, j'en serai le gardien vigilant.»
12.55 . He said : Set me over the storehouses of the land I am a skilled custodian .
12.55. Qala ijAAalnee AAala khaza-ini al-ardi innee hafeethun AAaleemun
